Happy Tuesday loves!
Major catching up happening today as I post recaps from my most recent group mentor sessions over the past few months :) I just realized that I hadn’t posted any since my Little Rock recap back in February and I’ve had 5 since then!
So since I’ll be announcing the fall dates tomorrow, I figured we should share the recaps from our recent sessions :)
First up is Charlotte!
My second official group mentor session was held in Charlotte, NC back in May. This was my first time in Charlotte and I absolutely loved it! What a beautiful city and SO photogenic! Literally everywhere I turned was a great spot for photos :) So our mentor session turned out wonderfully!
I got together with a group of 4 lovely photographers and we had a great day learning how to find the good light, how to achieve the correct exposure each time, and discussing business aspects of their respective photography businesses.
I was so happy to see the fairly immediate change in the quality of their photos from when we started to the end of the session :)
Here are a few behind the scenes photos along with headshots for each attendee!
“Danielle’s mentoring session was clear and concise. I love that she had materials for us and broke the sessions down between basics of digital photography, practice shooting, and editing. Keeping the group small allowed us each to participate and receive without being overwhelmed. The tips and practice with shooting and editing were clear, super simple and they instantly improved my photography. It also was helpful that 2 meals were provided as we had a full 7 hours with Danielle :-) I love that Danielle also encouraged us all to take time to find our ‘own’ style and be consistent. Overall, my time and money were well spent and I could not recommend a better resource for mentoring.”

“My experience with Danielle was far beyond awesome. I traveled from South Carolina to Charlotte and it was well work my travels. I have been trying to shoot with natural light for some time now and struggle with it. After attending Danielle’s mentor session, she has made my life so much easier behind the lens! I have no regrets and look forward to working with her again next year. Thanks again for all the helpful information and your professionalism that you have offered to help me along my journey. ”
