Happy Friday to you!

I'm stopping in today to share a gorgeous session with you from my Atlanta visit back in May! One of the clients I had the privilege of working with while in Atlanta, was Tareva.

We had such a great time for our session, that I could have continued taking photos with her all day! It really makes me thankful that I do this for a living when I have the opportunity to work with such kind and genuine people like Tareva- not to mention beautiful :)

So it was a true honor to capture her essence and the resulting photos are just gorgeous!

Last, but certainly not least, for today is Kimberly!

She wanted a fun, classic photo shoot that highlighted the celebration of her 30th, and I think we did just that :)

The day of her session, storms were threatening in the distance and it was crazy windy, but that didn't stop the show! I love that I was able to capture Kim's wonderfully bright personality (in all its many facets) in these photos ♥

Happy Mentor Monday!

I hope everyone is doing well on this beautiful Monday afternoon! I’m dealing with a cold myself but I AM feeling a little better than I have been these past couple days (thanks to Esberitox!) so I’m counting that as a definite win :)

In May I had the pleasure of teaching a super fun 101 session in Chicago! I had such a great time with this group and even after a last minute model change and quick styling job by me, we made it work! The weather was perfect, light was amazing, and our model? Simply wonderful! Tameka has one of the most infectious smiles ever! Check out her photos :)

Happy Mentor Monday loves!

So far my commitment to keeping up with Mentor Mondays has meant that it is my only consistent post weekly lol. Gonna work on that… I have quite a few headshot sessions to post so I’m excited to blog those later this week :)

Today though, I’ll be sharing the images from my last group sessions I had here in DC back in May!

First up is 101! We had such a great time learning all about capturing awesome natural light photos!

Happy Monday loves! I’d planned to do another installment of Mentor Monday today, but I decided I wanted to share these photos of Moremi instead :)

This will forever be one of my favorite sessions simply for how it even came about in the first place- serendipity brought Moremi and I together 💛

I went to Target for a few things when I touched down in Houston this past March and this beautiful woman in the cosmetics section caught my eye. I was dead tired but I had to let her know how gorgeous she was! I did and we instantly clicked like old friends. I mentioned that I was in town for work and wished I lived there so we could shoot… But then we arranged an impromptu shoot for my only free day while I was there! This was sooo far out of my comfort zone (and hers too) but I am sooo happy with the results ^_^

Not only did I get to photograph this beautiful woman, but I have a new friend :)
